Great Wall of China Background

A fortified wall in northern China, extending some 2,400 km (1,500 miles) from Kansu province to the Yellow Sea north of Beijing. It was first built c. 210 bc, as a protection against nomad invaders. The present wall dates from the Ming dynasty.

Brian Petersen is a media engineer with a specialty in audio production in the Los Angeles area. He is also a follower of Christ and currently ministering at Grace Evangelical Free Church in La Mirada, CA, while attending the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University.

Brian's media and photography has been published by the U.N., Berklee College of Music, folks at the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division, the Surrey Museum in British Columbia, the Academy of Ancient Music in London, Biola University, Church Production Magazine, commercial advertisements like Waves, and online media and news agencies like CNN.
