Photography
Unable to sleep and quite restless from an awe-inspiring adventurous trip through Central and Eastern Nepal, I was wide awake and unable to sleep at 2:00am. I had been on a small rickety prop plane flight at the base of the Himalayas and then jumped on a flight out of Kathmandu without much sleep. There I sat in a Hong Kong hotel lobby preparing for a next day departure to Los Angeles while reviewing pictures taken during the trip through Nepal.

I had heard about the flickr photo sharing site and began posting pictures in order to share with people back home including friends and family that were at our local church in LA. They had prayed and provided support for the journey and were anxious to hear about what we encountered on a vision trip to help local Nepali people. Christ was being exalted and proclaimed there by a strong Spirit filled church amidst persecution and it was a joy to hear about the faith of the Nepalese. It was encouraging to know that when he jumped in our van at the LA airport that our driver and the church had already seen images from the trip and had heard stories of our travels. I never knew that the site would be so popular when I first began using the flickr to share pictures and I am thankful that it has served well.
By God’s grace, I now have over 900,000 views on my flickr page with an undocumented quantity of downloads of those images. I put images online that can be easily downloaded within my authorized permission listed below.
I have had the joy of photographing various people from a U.S. Congressman to Romanian orphans. I also enjoy taking nature shots and photographing my own beautiful rose garden.
